Local out of hours service

Between 6:30pm and 8am Monday to Friday, all day at weekends, and on Bank Holidays, the surgery is closed. A recorded message will give you the number of the emergency doctor. This will not be the doctor that you normally see; it will be a doctor that is employed by our out of hours provider.

All calls to the out of hours service are carefully prioritised, they will then provide advice or arrange a visit by a GP. The doctor on-call will use their professional judgement when offering advice or deciding to visit. You may also be offered the opportunity to attend a local primary care centre.
