As an organisation that operates as part of the NHS, we are committed to transparency, fairness, and responsible decision-making. While the services covered by these fees are not NHS-funded or NHS-commissioned, they are delivered within an NHS setting and supported by the same professional standards and governance.
Following a thorough review, we have made the decision to update our fees. We understand that this increase may appear significant and would like to explain the reasons clearly.
Our fees had not been reviewed or adjusted for the past three years. During this period, the costs of delivering services have continued to rise, including staffing, facilities, equipment, and administrative support. As fees were not incrementally updated during this time, a larger adjustment has now been necessary. The updated fees have been set following a review of comparable private service charges across GP practices nationally, to ensure they are consistent with rates charged elsewhere.
This review ensures our fees more accurately reflect the true cost of providing these services and allows us to continue operating safely, sustainably, and in line with NHS values and standards.
These new fees will be in effect from 1st January 2026.
