Your right to information
The Freedom of Information Act (2000) gives you the right to ask for recorded information held by public authorities, such as the NHS, and including GP practices.
This Publication Scheme is a guide to the information which may be made available to the public by Lion Health. We will monitor this information regularly to ensure it is current, and are proud to share this information about our GPs and practice.
There may be circumstances where material cannot be released because it is confidential or commercial information, or the appropriate officer designated for these purposes under the Act has taken the view that it may be prejudicial to the conduct of the practice’s affairs.
The F.O.I. act does not cover personal data. Personal data is covered by The General Data Protection Regulation (2016), which became legal in 2018.
Personal data should be requested by making a Subject Access Request.
How is the information available?
Whenever possible, information is available free online. Where hard copies are requested or required there will be an administrative charge. See the following table of information classes for useful information and links:
