We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and hardworking salaried GPs to complement our large team of doctors. We welcome applications from GPs  approaching qualification, those newly qualified and experienced GPs. Both positions are part-time (3 days a week) and include extended hours on a rota’d basis.

Healthcare Assistant

Lion Health is looking for a kind and friendly Healthcare Assistant to join the well-reputed clinical team to deliver a professional and caring service to our patients.

You will be working under the direct supervision of the Nursing Team Leader and in conjunction with doctors, midwives and other healthcare professionals to provide and deliver prescribed programmes of patient care.

The role is varied and no two days are the same hence, we are looking for an individual who is able to use their initiative as well as work effectively within a team.

Prior experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within a clinical setting is essential, although support and additional training will be provided where necessary.

This is a part-time position (26.5 hours), with the flexibility to work across three or four days, with one extended hours requirement of an 8pm finish time.

Pay range: £8.91 – £10.63 depending on experience.

Lion Health is currently recruiting for two Medical Secretaries, also known as a Clinical Support Officers.

As a Medical Secretary, you will provide the pivotal link between the Clinical Team and the patient.

Your valuable secretarial and administrative support to the Practice Management Team and all Health Professionals will reassure patients and practitioners alike that healthcare related actions are dealt with in a timely, efficient and sensitive manner. You will undertake a broad range of operational tasks such as referrals to community and secondary providers, liaison between doctors, patients and agencies, as well as access to and management of patient records.

This appointment is for two permanent, part-time positions to work 30 hours per week.

The pay range is between minimum wage and £10.63.

Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Officer) x2

Lion Health currently has vacancies for 2 Receptionists, also known as Patient Services Officers. Patient Services Officers are the face of the dynamic and busy reception team at Lion Health and provide a pivotal link between patients and clinicians.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver a professional and caring service. They will exercise judgement to navigate patients to the appropriate healthcare professional in an efficient, courteous and empathetic manner. Previous customer service or medical reception experience is desirable but not essential.

The positions are permanent and part time (20-30hours), with days of the week and working hours being flexible to balance the needs of the business with candidate availability. In addition to core hours, applicants will be able to cover for annual leave and sickness absence.

The rate of pay is from £8.91 per hour.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade 4 to 9 (including Maths and English)
