Temporary Clinical Records Officer
We are looking to recruit a temporary Clinical Records Officer into our dynamic administration team at Lion Health. You will be responsible for defining and attaching incoming correspondence to the patient record by applying an approved set of protocols and policies.
You will also assume responsibility for clinically coding medical conditions as well as test results and planned procedures to the patient records and in doing so updating the EMIS clinical system. You will create an electronic record of a new patients medical history where it has been received by Lion Health in a non-electronic format and also deal with departing patient records.
You will deal with a large volume of clinical work and work collaboratively across the wider teams at Lion Health to lessen the impact on the GPs time.
As this is a temporary role, we are looking for someone to hit the ground running following an initial period of training. This is a busy role so would suit positive individuals who are organised, enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in medical conditions.
This is a temporary, full time position (ideally 37 hours per week) paying between £8.91 and £10.63 per hour, depending on experience.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade 4 to 9 (including Maths and English).
