Addaction has a daily duty worker and provides needle exchange, has a mix of psychosocial groups, lifeskills activities and informal breakfast club and recovery café. Workers offer 1:1 support and groups as well as mutual aid.

Switch Dudley

Switch Dudley is part of Here4YOUth, an integrated young people’s service. Switch works with any young person using alcohol or drugs including tobacco, offering intensive individual or group support. The friendly team will agree a personalised plan to achieve the goals important to you. Their website has an online referral/booking and live chat.

Family/carer support for drug/alcohol users - Alternat+ve

Alternat+ve work with Atlantic House, have lived experience, have run SMART/craft groups/meditation for users and carers and currently offer one-to-one telephone and UK Zoom support groups (also run in Australia and the US).

At the moment UK Zoom groups run several evenings a week (choose which evening suits) and during lunch time on Fridays.

Their website is a hive of current information, short videos, useful websites with practical hints and tips for carers. There are free downloadable resources on there too.
