Lion Health: Patient Support

Lion Health is creating a Patient Support Initiative.  This will involve volunteers assisting fellow patients in the waiting area with booking in for appointments, signposting to rooms, and advising on how to direct administrative queries.

It is expected that the support volunteers will work for no less than 2 hour per week on a rota basis; frequency depending on uptake and availability.  

Volunteers will be shortlisted for an informal discussion, and if successful, following this discussion and DBS checking, will be inducted and trained by members of the Lion Health team.
