Clinical Records Officer

We are looking to recruit for an exciting opportunity as a Clinical Records Officer into our dynamic administration team at Lion Health. 

The role will see a diligent individual be responsible for reading incoming clinical documents and, by applying an approved set of protocols, deal with a large volume of clinical work to lessen the impact on the GP’s time. 

The role will use EMIS web and Docman and identify and apply appropriate clinical coding to patient medical records.

You will also be responsible for management of the Long Term Conditions administration and be expected to deal with colleague and patient queries face to face and over the telephone.

Applicants must have a minimum 5 GCSE’s A*-C/9-4 (including Maths and English)

Salary: £16,495 to £19,698per annum pro rota per dependant on qualifications and experience

Hours: 34 hours per week, shift pattern as follows:

Tuesday- 8-5 (8.5 hours) 

Wednesday- 8-5 (8.5 hours) 

Thursday-8-5 (8.5 hours) 

Friday- 8-5 (8.5 hours)
