Pregnancy and Child - Baby’s Development and Immunisation Schedule

Congratulations on the birth of your baby

We felt it might be helpful if we gave you and your family the schedule for us reviewing your baby's development and progress during the 0-5 years.

The Doctors and Nurses at the surgery work very closely with our Health Visiting team, who are available for support and advice for you and your baby from birth until your child goes to school.

You will probably have met your Health Visitor on several occasions, and she will be checking on your baby's progress and helping with any questions or concerns you may have. Also, she will have discussed with you immunisations to protect your baby from infectious illnesses, and health and development checks which are done at various intervals from 8 weeks to 4 years age.

You will receive appointments in due course from Child Health Department, Falcon House, Dudley, for all of these at the appropriate times.
